  • Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.

We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.

I should also add that my primary hunting rifle is a Thompson Center Hawken .50 cal. that I converted to flintlock by purchasing a L&R lock, and a Green Mountain 1-70 round ball barrel. I have never been to any organized muzzleloader events, so I am glad to have found this forum to learn more and to see what works for others. Besides black powder, I enjoy Hill style longbows and hunting with my son. Thanks, Dale
Thanks to everyone for the welcome!

Welcome from Michigan also. Manistee here and we have a muzzleloading club here if you'd want to come look us over we would be proud.
Thanks and good luck
