Looks nice, love to see soemthing different carved instead of the same old scrolls. That's one strange looking critter though, what is it/represent? Lionish looking, is it from something original or folklore?
 
This gun has references to God in the carving. The little circles refer to God's eyes which are everywhere. The Lion represents Jesus Christ, the appendage on the tail represents his physical and spritual existance. You have to remember that Christian Springs waas a Moravian settlement and everything that they said or done was a extension of their beliefs.
