Nope. Recurve and compoundstick bow?
Im glad you noticed. I put the pendent on that strand because the large HB stamp looks like it should have hung with the old green hearts. I don't know as much as I should about the history of my collection but when I die the next person who gets them will have lots of research to do.Nice, most folks don't study on the trade beads, their guilds and the history.
I see some originals.
I'd bet you and I could sit and talk about'm for hours,,
Folks don't get that old beads,, where there,, and traded hands 3-400yrs ago.
Why'd you put the fish with the Green Hearts? Any significance?
Thank you for that information. I remember I got those and a single large watermelon chevron from the same guy who said his grandma told him they was old. Needless the guy really wanted one of my knives so they are hanging on my wallWell let's hope they do the research, the value of trade beads has sky-rocketed compared to 20yrs ago.
You've easily got $800 worth of Chevron hanging there alone.
Those Green Hearts for example, are Italian/Venice, the copper infused sand deposit used to make that translucent center was a limited deposit, it was completely mined out by the early 18th century, so they are at least 400yrs old
I had most of that stuff stored in boxes then one day grabbed some screws and started hanging on the wall. That gave me more room to store more stuff in the boxes.And..... we're back to muzzleloader porn. Wish I had the creativity to arrange something like that.
I commend you sir! EXACTLY my sentiments!!I would rather eat a turd
