Not only are they easy to make, but you get whatever size and style you WANT. It's easy to make the "shoe" fill the bow of the triggergaurd and still have the "flag" have enough material to pin the trigger for full mechanical advantage. Plus those investment cast triggers can be difficult if not impossible to anneal and adjust the curl at the end. Mild steel ones no problemo!
Just whatever you are interested in accomplishing.
