I am new to this sport of muzzleloading and looking foward to hunting with them.I have a mint t/c renegade I got for $50,.50 caliber, percussion. I would like to get a shotgun for turkeys, but can't seem to find a percussion gun except for the double barrels and they're a bit pricey. I was told I may be able to get a shotgun barrel for the renegade , that would be great. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Grizzly,
I don't have a smooth barrel for your Renegade, but have sent you an email re a single barrel 12 ga that you might be interested in.
Mark

try contacting green mountain barrel via the phone t see if they have a drop-in barrel in smoothbore percussion.

You might try Tip Curtis Frontier Shop (615) 654-4445.

Or www.CainsOutdoors.com

Seems like both of them had Green Mountain smoothbore .62 cal barrels for your Renegade.

Dave,
No, this one isn't an UH, it's just a REAL NICE shotgun. As soon as I have some time I am going to build at least one more UH shotgun for myself, like the one I did for my grandson but in 12 ga. Will let you know. Regards for a happy, healthy new year.

I haven't received your email yet but would be interested in what you have. Thanks, John

John,
In case you don't get my email, here is what I have: Single barrel 12 ga with a 29" barrel built by F. Beckert. It has blued steel hardware and a case hardened nose cap with a US Springfield musket lock. The stock is walnut with a fluted grip cap and a checkered steel butt plate and the LOP is 14". The stock is in very good condition with a few minor handling marks but no damage. The gun appears to be unfired and has not been since I got it. I am asking $475 plus shipping and can email pics if you are interested. Thanks.
