You da man Davy!! :thumbsup: I been wanting to build on of these for my six shooter. I was searching the archives and found this link.
 
The current issue of BACKWOODSMAN magazine has an article detailing how to build two variations of loading stands. DALE
 
I built one very similar to the one pictured on the upper right using scrap 2-by-6 lumber. Total time was 30 minutes and cost was zero, but it is ugly.
