We decided to head out to one of the PA state game lands this afternoon for a little trek... taught my son a little about 21st century photography & we both posed for some photos... I think he got some great shots! We saw 6 turkeys and 4 deer (including a 4 pt. buck). An invigorating day!

He shore got a mean look looking down the barrel of that long rifle. That was a great day anyway you look at it. You have a fine looking son. Keep him on the right path.

What's better than that?

Buck still had his horns too. Gettin late for that.

:hmm: I'm willing to bet those other deer are all bucks that dropped already too. I had a forkhorn two years ago about the same size that held onto his until second week into March.

Looks like much fun outside! Especially the pics are nice, but your and your son's outfit too.

Now there is some quality time with the young one!

thats being a great "Dad"!

here it comes........

I'm planing a little hunting camp with my 7 year old son this summer. He can use a smallbore rifle or a .32 ML.

Thank you all for the kind words... I'm going to have to take the advice to get him started with a real flinter... now to find a used youth-size .32 for a good price!

What a great job your doing with your son, I'm sure he will have many fond memories of that day with his Dad. :hatsoff: to you both.
Dusty
