Nice. I've been wondering about .45 roundball. That one looks like it shed some weight but didn't expand. Seems pretty effective. What would you estimate the weight of that deer to be? I ask because our 1 year-old bucks run about 150 lb on the hoof. Older ones easily push 200 lb.

in SC that is about average size in my area. i would say he is 2 1/2-3 years old and about 150lbs. we get them 200 lbs but that is a big deer for here,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

My first CA deer was around 180 lb and only had 1x2 on his head. I could drag him on level ground but only one heave at a time (and I was training a lot back then).

Harvesting is actually a German Idea. I learned about it when I took Jager school. So, no WE kill the critters and harvest veggies.
Harvesting is a term used to calm the animal rights crowd. It doesn't evoke the same emotional response as "Mass Killing of Bambi" does. :)

i calms no one. they want to save all the animals and at the same time stomp our gut out! i have no use for their sick mentality or giving in to any of their language and boot licking! it just makes you sound stupid, or at least it would me! but hey that's just me,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
