I hope to go tomorrow, it's only an hour away. Maybe I can pick up my colonial kit I ordered back in March.

Plenty of possibilities here in the free pile.

Just got back from Jim's open house. It was a beautiful day. Enjoyed his shop tour. I found out my colonial will be another month out. This will OK as I have heart surgery in a couple of weeks so i couldn't work on it for a while any way.

I bet he sleeps with that magnifier on. I've watched his videos so many times I feel like I know him.
With my near vision going south, the optivisor is a MUST! I'm wearing it constantly while working on my Colonial. Downside is that it shows EVERY screwup I've committed thus far. Sometimes too much detail...IS TOO MUCH DETAIL!

I got to spend a couple of hours at Kibler's Longrifles today! Such Beautiful Flintlock. Rifles. I couldn't stop drooling. The manufacturing facility is Spectacular. I'm thinking about going back again tomorrow.

Any new pictures of the Woodsrunner??
They were making a stock for one in the CNC when I was on the tour but no photos. They had a stock on the table with a version Jim did previously.

Great pics, again. It's nice to see the new Woodsrunner (sort of). The comb is interesting as it appears to have a bit of a "razorback" (correct term ?) to it. So, a 54 cal will weigh in about 7 1/2 lbs, a 45 cal around 8 lbs and a 50 cal in-between..
Lets see.....SMR, Woodsrunner...decisions, decisions.

I was there today with my wife and she had a great time learning about the machines. I was able to pick Jim’s brain on wood selection and how he sources. He has a good setup, tons of raw materials and several employees.
I’d expect his wait time to improve and the woods runner is a looker! I was not sure about gun from the description but the one on the table was tasteful and not over done as a woodsman’s rifle should be.
