Hunting sword with antler grip, pierced brass guard and heavy brass chain. A perfect side arm for a militia interpretation! The 25" blade is marked "EBE" in the fuller on one side and "2005" on the other. The blade has some marks from use, but is light and well proportioned for a hunting sword. Overall length is 30 1/4". As nice as the sword is, the scabbard is "serviceable" but nothing to write home about. I had planned to replace it, but decided to sell the sword instead. Price is $115 shipped in the lower 48.

Good Evening Chris,
I’m interested in your sword. Are the marks on the blade corrosion or surface marrs/blemishes from handling? Is the grip tight on the tang? What forms of payment will you take and lastly, would you please hold until I receive your reply?
Thanks so much for your time and help,
Sincerely,
Garret

Garret,

The marks on the blade appear to be scuffs near the tip. They may just be where final finishing of the blade did not remove all of the prior grit's sanding. They may also be scuffs from the blade having been cut with -- there are a few spots on the edge that look like it came in contact with something. I don't see any rust or corrosion. The grip is tight, but is only held on by the pommel screw, and can be easily removed.

I can take a check payment, but will need to wait on shipping until it clears. I can also take a money order or payment through PayPal for immediate shipping. However, if you choose PayPal, I would ask that you include an additional 4% to cover the fees I will be charged.

Please let me know if you have any other questions I can help with. I can hold the sword for you until noon tomorrow to give you time to decide if you want it or not.
