Got a Hudsons Bay Blanket at an estate sale today. Bought it from a 93 year old woman who says she got it from her grand mother when she got married, but remembers it as a small child. It is a 3 1/2 point blanket, but the color is strange. It's pink with dark pink stripe, has the pre 1900 tag on it. This woman says it has been pink as long as she can remember. I can't find any reference to a pink blanket in any of my books. Any body got any information on this color blanket? It sure has me stumped. It's in fair condition considering the age, well worn, a little frayed, but no holes. Any information appreciated.

From what I've read, the pastel colored blankets were introduced in the early 20th century. Buck Conner had some really good information on his site, but I can't seem to find it. It gave info on colors, years, stripe colors, labels, points, weaves, etc. Very informative.
