Why ask is if you don't use a good dial caliper to measure them you just don't know. Factory roundball and many small commercial companies have made ball that varies upto 3 thousands of an inch. If your just a close range pinker just move along now. If consistent shot placement and fine accuracy is needed the best solution is to cast your own ball. I have found some companies don't use pure lead . These harder ball are both harder to load, lose accuracy and change shot placement. Old cast lead ball also shrinks with age so rotate your stock as you shoot them. How important is any of this? If you are a 25yd and 50yd NMLRA match competitor who prefers to win. Very... Others?...Your needs may vary...c

I just use in the box swaged round balls for general plinking ( after weighing them) and close in deer hunting. Yes, for fine accuracy, cast, weigh, and sort! Keep in mind- European barrels may have a different bore size than an American made barrels!
