this rifle came off of santa clara pueblo in new mexico....i got it from grandson of great great great grandfather who as governor of pueblo,,,,in trade for lift kit and big tires for his truck....it is 50 cal and rawhide repair hides maker if any....not typical lancaster trade rifle as it has oval cheek piece....grease hole not typical indian gun...tack in it now....1849 taos up rising ????any ideas ??? fred
