goWelcome from Washougal WA. I don't see to many black powder guys or gals in my neck of the woods.
I live in Yelm now. I spent many years in Othello just down range from you in Washougal. I occasionally go to the Tri-Cities area to hunt fossils in the White Bluffs where I can wear my Walker for snakes and just to enjoy the feel of "packing iron"

I'm a member of Renton Fish and Game Club. Let me know if you feel like checking it out sometime. We shoot a lot of different black powder guns (flintlocks, cap and ball, antique BPCR).
