Hey Folks thanks for having me. Just getting into muzzleloading, went a couple of times with a friend's rifle, now just got my own gun, given to me by a really nice neighbor. It's a T/C Pennsylvania Hunter percussion. I think he got it like over 30 years ago. Not much info on this rifle. Got the original manual and all the truck but going to be learning up on it. If anyone has any suggestions, loads, accessories, etc., all would be welcome. This is a 1:66 twist ball and patch, I think I can shoot conicals out of it if anyone has let me know. There were some 50 cal conicals came with it. Bought a box of Hornady .50 cal conicals say they are made specially for the 1:66 twist. Looking forward to perusing the forums.

Welcome to the dark side, forever will it dominate your destiny!! :D
You at the right place to learn. Enjoy!!

Welcome from Oklahoma. Your rifle is definitely a round ball shooter. I'm guessing that you have some of the Hornady PA conicals. They should shoot pretty good for you.
I would say to shoot what you have just to see how they fly.
Nothing wrong with a patched round ball.
