Refinishing a stock. I used Birchwood Casey rusty walnut as a base, sanded, re-applied, sanded again. Followed up with the same process using their walnut stain. I was hoping to create some depth, leaving areas only lightly sanded versus more aggressive sanding. Finished with Howard feed n wax.
I am happy with the results.

That looks good. I’ve used Birchwood Casey stains on a few projects and am pleased with there products.
