Hi all,
I tend to go for "reasonably period correct" for my rifles. And so I got a Pedersoli Blue Ridge/Frontier. I love most everything about the rifle except for the trigger guard. I cant't get a great grip on it. It doesn't look super easy to replace so Im thinking of adding something to the rest of the wrist to even out my grip.

Does anything at my level of historical authenticity come to mind? All I've been able to come up with are leather straps, or a leather grip from a traditional-type longbow.

Thanks for your input.
Cheers,
dgfd
