This is what is caller the Sheath blade by Green River. I got no idea why they call it that? I carried one of these in my day pack all the time and found it handy for general purpose use but I really started liking it when I had a deer to skin and no skinner. Out came the "Sheath" knife and there I discovered a great use for it as a skinner.

This one is not that knife however. I just recently put the scales on this one using Bocote. It's a very hard wood and holds up very well to use. The sheath itself is just today completed and I'm offering knife and sheath for $55.00 $45.00 shipped to the lower 48. A couple bucks more for AK and Hawaii.
