Black powder is non existent here. I have been using up my supply of cart granulation. Does any one know how it compares to ff and fff.

Goex cartridge powder

In my BP cartridge rifles the cartridge powder is about the same as FFG, so I just use that, even in my .44 revolvers.
I had a pound given to me by an older friend and it shot just like 2F Goex.
I shoot BP (unmentionable ) calibers at long range and used Goex cartridge for years with great results. When Cartridge grade become unavailable I spent a year experimenting with Goex 2F and 3F but could never obtain the same accuracy as before. Then, I discovered Swiss 1.5 F and the problem was solved. Great accuracy was restored.

Thanks for the replies. I have been assuming close to 2f and seems like good guess. Is Swiss still available?
