I shot a doe at about 80 yards with my 54 cal.GPR that I put together last winter. 80 gr. 3f swiss and a patched 530 ball. She was seven and a half years old or older, had no fat on her.I was sitting in tall grass and useing cross sticks.

Good job. That's an OLD Deer. :shocked2: Wonder the ball didn't bounce off. :) Larry

Great job. Got her in the "doe shoot"? I'm doing the youth hunt this weekend with daughter and son. Should be good.

I didn't take any pictures? I took her to the DNR check station they aged her by her teeth and they give you a patch for cooperating, the patchs are a colectors item in Michigan.
Flint 311 good luck on your upcomeing hunt with your children.
For christmas last year I got a tripod shooting stick with that and the weight of the GPR I can hold real steady.

I've yet to harvest anything with my kit GPR 'cept a "Richardsons Ground Squirrel" @ 10 paces.
Good on you for your doe harvest!!

DANG! I want a patch! We don't even get metal tags this year! Nothing but CRAPPY PAPER license and deer tags! The state of Ohio is getting cheaper by the year! By the way.. GOOD JOB on your doe! I have a GPR in a 50, I don't so much, mind the weight.. you bet I'll be out with her during shotgun and ML this year!
