Flint Wallets

I made up some flint wallets over the Xmas break.

They hold (6) flints, plus the leathers and a few toothpicks in the bottom pouch. The toothpicks can be used to move a ‘short’ flint forward, or to close off the touch hole whilst it’s loaded, but stored in a case (not hunting).

I can provide measurements, fits up to large fowler sized flints, if that helps anyone!

I do know that the one on the far left is a very soft and supple deer hide, but I’m not sure what kind of leather the one on the right is … leather is not my forte at all …

I carry 6-8 flints in a soft leather bag kept at the bottom of my bag. Tied tightly, the flints cannot shift or bang against each other and no damage has happened to the edges. It's worked for me.
