I drive truck and in the evenings, or while sitting at a dock I work leather. I have finished a leather pouch for a flint and steel kit.
This is made from veg tanned cow hide in 3oz thickness. 4 1/2” X 3 1/2”, dyed brown with a soldered loop brass button, hand stitched with flax thread and fancied up with 18th century tools. The steel is 2 1/2” inside loop and sparks like a dragon! Comes with a flint shard, hemp fiber. I have no more chat cloth in the truck but I will include directions on how to make some.
