The pouch is made from veg tanned cow hide in 3oz thickness. 5” X 4 3/4” dyed brown with a soldered loop brass button, hand stitched with flax thread and made water resilient with a leather dressing of my own making. The steel is 2 1/2” inside loop and sparks like a dragon! Comes with a flint shard, hemp fiber and char cloth as shown. Enough to get you up and running for a few fires. The belt loops on the back will accommodate a 2 1/2” belt with ease.
When I’m hunting, hiking or trekking, modern or primitive, I keep a fully stocked flint and steel kit at my waist. If EVERYTHING goes wrong and the canoe dumps or I lost my gun in a fall or fleeing marauding scalp takers I still have the ability to make fire and that could be the difference between surviving and pushing up daisies!
This kit costs $40 shipped to conus. I accept checks, money orders, cleverly concealed cash or PayPal at [email protected]
Message me before paying as these sell quickly.
Thanks for your consideration
