ordered all the parts for 2 pistols today. started the process by roughing out some stocks. Real rough. wife says i can't start another build until we settle her late sister's estate. she needs my help. didn't have the heart to tell her i had already started.

thank you Dave! my pistol isn't going to be quite like that British service pistol.
the first one i am doing has a 11.25 inch barrel. 1 inch oct. across the flats at the breech tapering to 15/16 for 4 inches then a 7/8 inch wedding ring to swamped , with a 7/8 muzzle!
still designing the stock .
wife says i have to work for her for some weeks settling her sisters estate so i have plenty of time to cogitate on just what to turn this into.
