Finally...efforts to get BP reclassified !!

The bad news is they requested our opinions but didn't provide a unique Email address to respond...they only posted their snail-mail address.

I went to their main site contact and sent them an Email explaining this was the 21st century...if they really wanted large volumes of input they needed to provide an Email address in their announcement request...in this day and age virtually nobody is going to go to the trouble of pen, paper, stamps, envelopes, etc.

Anyhow, take a look...I think what Goex is doing to try and help the BP industry...themselves...and us, is great.

Thanks for letting us know about this. It's way overdue. I don't think it'll have an effect, considering the political climate, but I'm working up a letter as we speak. It has hurt the sport, dealers, and end users, to no positive benefit whatsoever. I hope we can get the reclassification!

I'd be optimistic that it would have a positive impact and breathe some fresh life into the traditional style MLs.

And there would no longer be a need to have to use the expensive BP subs and put up with the marketing hype...which may mean that all the BP sub manufacturer's may gang up and fight the efforts of Goex.

Sure would be nice to buy Goex anywhere without hazmat fees...

This is a good thing but we don't need to argue among our selves about the e-mail clause and miss the point of the project. We need to take advantage of it asap as for writing a letter if that's what they want then write them a short note answering there questions, but do not let the no e-mail thing cause you to fail in responding.

As you stated, they really need to post an email address. If they need input they really need to make it easy for people to provide that input.
