European flat horn with scrimsaw?

I got an european flat horn with a fish mouth (?) and scrimshaw.

Flat horns with a fisch mouth are typical for scandinavian countrys. But is it really a fish mouth or a duckbill?
I just saw similar scrimshaw decoration on horns from the Alps, Austria, Switzerland, southern Bavaria
