This is the new guy posting in the pistol forum. I got into shooting BP rifle, and picked up a Euro Arms .44 cal for $ 160.00. This is one of the funnest pistols I have ever shot. I have pretty much retired all my centerfire pistols and gone to BP. I think they are way more involved and funner to target shoot with all around. Anyways here's a pic of my new pistol

It's funny because I get getty as a school girl on the way to shoot with my buddy now. When i shot my modern arms they where way more accurate, but boring to shoot. Yeah I could stack shots at 200+ yards, but B/P is was more interactive.

My wife bought me my Euro Arms 1858 20 years ago for Father's Day, through Dixie. First time at the range with it, I was shooting 27 grains of FFFg Goex and .454 cast balls. The very first shot was through the X at 25 yards. Soon after I gave my 1860 Army Colt copy to my nephew. That Remington was for me! The Remington has abtter sights ehan the Colts. A friend of mine took a wild boar with his 1858 at 10 yards. After 20 years, that 1858 is still a blast to shoot
