Made this one for a friend, My version of an English trade Knife/Scalper
7 1/8"x 1 1/8"blade of 0-1 steel
Half tang
Beech handle
Iron pins

A knife capable of doughty deeds.....very authentic looking....nice finish work

I'm sure those old-time knife factories would have drooled over O-1. An excllent knife steel even by modern standards

Touchmark is there, Just washed out by the light.
Yes the handle is larger in the rear with a straight taper towards the front.
