I often dream I’m at or going to an event. And in my dreams I get to see some old friends lost to us today. Red beard, Tripod, Damnit Hamit join me in camp again.
Last night I got a Bedford style Flintlock done on European walnut, deep red in color. I don’t know what I paid for it but it was cheaper then a European walnut stock blank is alone, said so in my dream.
I dug in to our savings to for it, not telling my wife, I was a little nervous over that one.
I took it home and showed it to my dad (passed in 2012) he looked about sixty.
It looked all so traditional but the sights were something from a sci fi movie. It had built in levels and micro adjustment big dial screw heads.
My dad laughed at that, and I said I would get them replaced as soon as I got a load dialed in
Dream ended about that time
I don’t recall ever wanting a Bedford, but would go for one at a cheap price for sure
It was nice seeing my Dad and ‘Beard again last night
