For sale: CVA Mountain Stalker

.54cal - 1:38 Twist - 26" barrel -Bore and rifling are clean and crisp!

The exterior of the barrel, has some flecking, like the last owner hunted in a mist and put it away without wiping it off. Nothing huge and certainly doesnt hurt its hunting accuracy! Only a cosmetic blemish that no hunter would mind.

Rifle is less than 6lbs. Trigger pull I would judge to be at around 3.5lb and crisp. The clean out screw on the drum is NOT frozen. Lock looks excellent inside and out.

All the new owner will literally have to do, is swab the oil out of the borem and go shooting. I've already applied anti seize to both the nipple and clean out screw.

The 1:38 twist will accurately shoot a patched round ball too. 60gr 3fg, .018" patch and a .530" ball did awesome in this rifle, even out to 100 yards.
