Big doin's are being planned as the historic international match between the Irish and American rifle teams is celebrated this October at Oak Ridge, TN. It's a might fur piece for this pilgrim, but I will sure be there in spirit.
Anyone interested in the history of the original match at the Creedmoor rang eon Long Island, NY, would do well to obtain a copy of David Minshall's "The Story of Creedmoor."
For those who are on Facebook, Rick Weber administers a wonderful page" "Creedmoor 150," dedicated to the original match, and the one coming up.
