A pair of Plains Native like reproductions. Both are modern butcher knives cut down, rescaled, and artificially aged. The rawhide was taken from a dog's chew toy and stained and aged with shoe/leather dyes. I tore the rawhide while installing it so I simply sutured the hole with a bit of sinew and hoped it would look OK when the hide dried. The edges stayed together as the hide shrunk and the repair adds a bit of character to the finished piece.
