Thanks for posting these pictures and enlarging them Davy.
This is a Lehigh rifle that I just finished a couple weeks ago. This rifle has a lot of carving detail and engravimg that didn't show up in the photos. Sorry about the quality of the pictures.

Thanks Smallpatch, I wish they were of better quality also. Niether I or my computer savvy daughter shot these. I have some that she has shot that I have to get transferred to CD so I can get them on here. But, these will give you some idea as to what I have been up to. I am working on a Bucks Co. rifle now which is similar in archetecture with some variations.

Lehigh, this is a rifle influenced very strongly by the one in Rifles of Colonial America Vol. I Rifle #57 by Herman Rupp. This one is a 20 ga. Getz smoothrifle barrel with the L&R Dickert lock. The TG & BP are castings from TOTW and all other furniture is made by my hand.

Rich, I accept that compliment as high praise. Allen Martin is one of my Contemporary Longrifle builder heroes. Thank you! But it may be the fuzzy pictures:grin:

Well I am sure glad you got all dressed up for the pictures....I would hate to see such a beautiful gun shown off by someone in a pair of overhauls!! :v

Very nice!!
