Used colonial buckle shoes with a lot of wear left in them. Size 10, black, smooth out. I hade these half-soled with rubber for safety in reenacting but kept the leather heel w/metal insert (replaced once) for doing facing (drill) movements. The latchets have extra holes for different buckles and one has been slightly trimmed (see photos). The uppers are in real good shape and they have always been stored with shoe trees inside. I bought these shoes from the Colonial Shoe Company in Massachusetts in 1981 and as I understood it they were made by Frye and after the bicentennial the remaining stock was sold to Colonial. They are a very well made shoe but with my foot issues I haven't been able to wear them for years. $40 and I will ship them USPS for actual cost. I accept MOs and checks which I may hold till it clears.

I got your msg, via my phone, re: shipping. $11.65 & 5 days is glorious. I'll take them!
I'll send money, however you wish, on the 13th, as i explained.
I can't get logged onto MF on my #$%^ phone.
Thanks.

Thank you, Sir. you had me very worried there for a minute.
How would you prefer payment?

I sent my info in one of the PMs. If you go back through yours you'll find it. For some reason you start a new PM (conversation) each time you post rather than simply keeping the original going. If you don't see it right off contact me. :)

Afraid I'm a Luddite, when it comes to computers & making my smart phone do what I need it to.
Not by accident that I feel comfortable reliving the 18th. (I'd probably not have survived long in it in reality, but it's still fun).

I'll find your info in the morning,
Maybe I can get my son to help before he heads to work.
I'm at his place, building a raised playhouse for his boys.
I'll be back tomorrow to confirm that I have the info.
