Horn and bag from son-in-law and his brother. First time his brother ever built a horn or scrimshawed.
 
Very nice gear! Great gift too! Did you build the pistol and rifle? Beautiful stocks. :thumbsup:
 
I know that horn and bag are probably gorgeous (they are)
but i can't drag my eyes off those stocks. :shocked2:
 
Hey DD, the rifle is a Tip Curtis, Late Va., swamped barrel 50 cal, Siler lock, Davis trigger. I finished the stock, barrel, and lock. I bought the rifle at Dixon's fair, (in the white). The pistol, I picked up, at a Gun Show. It was partially finished. I don't know why it never got finished by the original owner, dealer didn't have a clue, as to what he had.
