Primarily shoot at Pigeon Hill Conservation Area near St. Joseph. Been shooting there since the early 1990's. Usually shoot during the week but occasionally on Sunday. The ranges tend to get busy on the weekends. The atmosphere at non-supervised ranges are more relaxed but you do have to be more safety aware of others.

I use to shoot my modern guns at Parma Woods near Parkville. Haven't been there in twelve years since a Missouri Conservation Officer and I had an issue over my 30-06 brass. Was forced to put my personal brass into the range bucket. Kind of hard for a hand loader to take on brass that had only been fired once and had lots of life left. But with a muzzle loader, the issue of brass ownership is moot so I may shoot there again sometime.
