On Feb 20, 2006, I went on a bird hunting expedition to the mountains in west/central PA. I accompanied my friend Phil and his German Shorthair female, Bella, as their guest, on a bird hunt near Houtzdale, PA. I was four for five, and that netted me two ringnecked roosters, a chucker and a bobwhite quail bagged, but another bobwhite escaped me. But, friend Phil was able to bag it with his second follow up from his Over/under shotgun. Oh, yeah. Did I mention that I was PC top to bottom and using my 20ga. Center/Mark Tulle de Chase that I built in 1995. A bird in hand is a wee bit of proof in a pic.

That is sweet Mad Jack. A good dog can make about anybody look good. Just kidding  I hope to try a quail down in Florida on St.Patricks'Day. A trip my son and I have been planning for sometime. I wish I had me some of them pc cloths and a Tulle like that. I pointed one of them with the correct trigger pull for me just recently. I immediately stated that," I believe I could kill a bird with this gun. Of all the guns I have tried, I like the properly fitted Tulle the best.

Nope sorry, that bird in your hand is from the wrong time period. The ringneck pheasant wasn't introduced to the United States until 1882. :rotf:

Seriously, sounds like a fun time and the outfit is great.
