I don't know if the size would work for you, but Dixie Gun Works sells a couple of fuses.

greetings old ford,

don't know if things have changed in ont since i lived in mich. when i needed fuse. would cross over to windsor and buy a bunch of canadian firecrackers. they wern't very powerful, but, the fuses were great for our small cannons.

..ttfn.. grampa..

I do not know what is available in Canada, but here in WI I can get it from the local fireworks shops...

I just bought some of this at $8.00 per 100'. That is 1/4 the pice of the Dixie sutff.

I bought a small roll for my handgonne for cheap off Ebay. I don't remember the seller's name offhand, but he's always got some for sale, in rolls or cut. It's good fuse.

Scota,
Is there no HAZMAT fee on shipping this material?
Does not mention one on there link.
snake-eyes:hmm:

There's no hazmat fee on fuse. I've ordered it from different places over the years and never had to pay one.

have you tried making quills?

Just take a small straw, or feather, some double sided tape and some very fine powder.

Coat tape with powder, slit straws down the one side lengthwise and insert tape. Make sure there is enough sticking out both ends for ignition.

The straw blows out after each round and these provide very fast ignition.
