I have a brass barreled, smoothbore pistol. It cleans as easy as any other gun.
 
To all that replied...thanks..just used to a shiny bore after cleaning..
I know what my brass trim looks like after shooting without powder ignited on it.
Guess I'm just a clean bore oddity.
I'll bet the extra weight of the barrel helps tame the recoil.
