a friend of mine forged this small ax head for me. It's patterned after the Fort Meigs ax. I added the handle.

I like it. I do a little smithing myself, and hope to get better at small axes. Love to use tools that I made myself. Thanks.
It's a great little ax. Great for sharpening wooden stakes and splitting kindling. Used mostly on small game. Used for removing feet and head from squirrels, no more dulling my pocket knife on cutting bones.
