Aye mates, in less than a month the redcoats descend upon the Big Muddied (by Katrina) fer their annual drubbin! :haha: January 12 and 13, to be exact, and my Baratarians and our Plauche's Battalion and Beal's Rifle Company allies extend to all of you a most cordial invitation to attend.

We beat the tar out of the bloody Brits once again! The event was rather lightly attended this year. However, the weather was absolute perfection - 60-70 degree range and sunny - and the reenactors were well-represented: both the local and out of town USS Carolina crew were there, along with the 7th Infantry, Beale's Rifle Company, Plauche's Battalion, the Tennessee Volunteers, a couple of British units, the Choctaws, and of course, the Baratarian privateers!

Is there a website for the "Tennessee Volunteers" referred to above?

Thanks,
Hugh
