I have a friend that is a fantastic machinist and experienced in building larger cannons. We were talking about attempting to do a 1st model brown bess barrel. Does anyone have a CAD drawing or a drawing with enough detail I could make a CAD drawing with, just so we can look at it in more detail? Thanks

Thank you all. I'm sure the steel type he may choose will be suitable. He is fsr more knowledgeable than me and has a lot of experience in the cannon building side of things.
