Well, I sold my T/C New Englander a couple months back. I really prefer a flintlock and was thinking I'd use the money toward a .54 Hawken. Then I saw this nice .50 Hawken for sale and decided .50 was plenty for deer and that's all I really will hunt with it so I grabbed it. The seller says it was made from a TOTW kit and has seen little use. The lock sparks well and the workmanship is looks pretty good to me. I've always wanted a Hawken so I'm looking forward to shooting it as soon as the supplies arrive. Now all I "need" is a nice .36 and I'm all set. :hmm:

She's a beauty and looks like she'll make an excellent hunting rifle

Mighty fine there Baron. I've always liked the looks of the hawken. Looks like you're in for some good times.
