A remote-operated blunderbuss, on a swivel spike, that is set into the ground to deter poachers. Tripwires are attached to the 3-rings in the mount, that will swing the muzzle in the direction of the pull and activate the trigger to fire it at the offending person(s)!

Guess they had no lawyers back then ... LOL!
