This is a nicely preserved example of an Allen Santa Fe Hawken. It's 31 5/8" barrel is 1" across flats. Bore is excellent. Top flat is stamped Barrel address says ALLEN F.A. MFG. CO.- SANTA FE N.M. Side flat stamped .54 CAL (actually. 53). Browned with some thinning. Hardware is iron, German Silver and pewter, and were copied from the old Cherry's Corner parts - considered to be some of the most authentic. Stock is nicely figured Walnut with minimal handling marks. $650 + Shipping.
