Here is a photo of our cannon (Parrot) crew in action at the Pleasant Hill battle reenactment last weekend. We are the middle one in this shot. There were at least 20 guns on our side.

There were Parrots, Napoleans, howitzers and one Hotchkiss gun here.
 
They sure have added a lot since the last time I attended.
I was once in Terry's Rangers-8th Texas Cav., but could not keep up, due to work, and business duties.
I suppose when I retire it'll be fine though.

The thing about Pleasant Hill that is the best, I suppose, is the beer in the kegs, inside the cabin-saloon, at night. :hatsoff:
Might not be that way now though-it was back in the early 90's when I was there.
Lost a pair of officers binoculars on the field, never found'em.hehe
Thing was, you could not see good through them-only for the scout impression-that's all.hehe
Ahhh-the good'ol days of the 90's..... :youcrazy:
