Hey everyone,
Just bought a 58caliber colonial smoothie from Kibler. and I had a question. Are the Kibler colonial barrels interchangeable?
I have all the supplies and would like the versatility if it is possible.
thanks!
Jacob

Yes, as long as it’s the same brand barrel. I owned a 50 cal Colonial with a GM barrel. Bought a 58 a couple of months later. It fit and shot perfectly. Just need to drll the barrel tenons to match the take off.

Yeah I was thinking about it, and they haven’t shipped my order yet. so I emailed them to see if that is something that is feasible to ship with my rifle kit.

Good to know. Thanks 👍
As soon as they said they are interchangeable I went out and ordered it. I also should clarify that this only pertains To the green mountain barrels Jim just started using. I’m not sure about the old rice barrels.

I am conversing with Katherine on this issue right now, and waiting for a response

Mine is the older Rice Barrel with separate barrel tenons. I want to create another barrel in smooth bore, that will drop in.
That way I can also use this rifle in the smooth bore match.

Her response: I’m sorry but we don’t have any more of that profile barrel smoothbore that would be able to fit in your stock. If you contact Rice Barrels directly they may be able to help you out. I have heard that they do this.

I sent Rice an email on the second, and no response as of yet
