A couple recent knives finished.

Here are a couple knives I recently finished. The larger is made with 1084 and elk antler. The smaller is made from a rake tine with deer antler handle.

I have a couple of 1084 blanks just sitting and waiting, need to get my forge going.

And with a hand-cranked coal forge. Be still my heart. Actually, I have only used charcoal forges and propane to mash perfectly good iron and steel into useless lumps, while you, sir, are a master.

Boiled in instant coffee for 20 min, then covered in lamp suit. Then hand rubbed with bees wax and old shop towel till they shine.

Well they look great! I’ve been working with antlers for many years and never got them to look as good! Cotton
