September 25-27 at our farm North of Chariton Iowa.

Come for the day or for the weekend. Plenty of camping spots, firewood and good water.

Saturday night we have a potluck.

Most people on Sunday do not shoot, they break camp and are on the road by noon. So if you are coming for the day, make it Saturday.

This event is one that people show up and wear whatever they want and camp in everything from a wedge to a modern camper.

While we shoot mostly traditional ML's every once and a while a inline will show up and other modern rifles/shotguns.

As an example I have been known to show up with a 38-55 and 38-40 lever guns.

My range has over 20 hanging steel targets out to 75 yards with plenty of challenging targets to some easy ones.

Think of it as a weekend of shooting, sitting around the camp and enjoying yourself. It is a family friendly event.

I do have a herd of 50 buffaloes that are shot only with a .22 rifle. At 75 yards they are fun to shoot at.

So bring your ML and other shooting irons, some food and enjoy yourself.

Email or call me for more information.
