    I have this barrel.🤔

It was given to me. Part of an old CVA kit. It's 44 caliber, about 32ish inches, and has Jukar engraved on it as well as a serial number. I was wondering if this could be used for say 3 pistol barrels? Thanks for your comments in advance.

    Red Mapel

What are your thoughts? Workability, staining, and how does it compare to hard maple? Pics please, we all love to see those beautiful rifles. Thanks

    Knives Refurbish

My dad recently gifted me his hunting knives he got in Germany back in the 60s. They are Othello knives by Anton Wingen Jr., Solingen Germany. I would like to get them refurbished. Would anyone like to recommend a professional blade smith that does this kind of work? Thanks in advance.

    Wood Finishing

I have a barrel browning. It won’t be done with the cure until tomorrow. My stock has been sanded and I was wondering if I could whisker and start the staining process or should I wait until I have a lock and barrel to insert. I’ve always waited but was wondering if this wood would swell...

    Conicals

I’m thinking about trying a conical in my long rifle. The guy at Colerain recommended the REAL bullet from Lee. I realize the slow twist is for balls but wanted to try it in a 45 to get a heavier projectile. Could some of you guys give me advice on how you load a conical? Thanks in advance.

    Shooting The Fowler

I’ve never shot a flintlock Fowler and was wondering what, if any, difference there was when shooting flying targets than with a modern shotgun? Thanks.

    How much is too much.

I was just wondering how much a 54 long rifle should weigh. Thanks

    54 Caliber for Elk

I’m wanting to build a flintlock rifle to elk hunt with in the September muzzleloader season in CO. My question to the experienced veterans is will a 54 caliber round ball be sufficient or should I go bigger? I’ll build with 42” barrel, 1 in 56 twist is what I think it is. Thanks in advance...

    Touch hole position

Can some of you experienced builders help me? I built my first rifle and after installing my touch hole I noticed it’s 1/32nd forward of the center of the pan. It’s perfectly at the sunrise position just a Bit forward. Still well over the pan. I haven’t gotten the opportunity to shoot it...
